    YouNow’s “1 Minute Talent Challenge” with King of The Web

    Do you have a knack for creating entertaining videos? Do you like money & cool stuff? If the answer is YES then LISTEN UP! 

    From June 16-30th we will be holding our first-ever video contest: YouNow’s “1 Minute Talent Challenge!” The contest will award the best video makers amongst you.

    The top 6 videos will earn their makers cash and promotion, including a $750 first prize!
     

    HOW TO ENTER

    1. Register and create a King Of The Web account here.
    2. After registering, click the “Start Campaigning” button that can be found within the “My Profile” page.
    3. Submit your video entry to King of The Web’s “YouNow’s 1 Minute Talent Challenge!” 
    4. Begin sharing with your friends, and ask them to vote on your video! NOTE: users can vote for their favorite entries 10x a day throughout the course of the contest (June 16-30)

    REQUIREMENTS

    1. The video should be no longer than 1 minute in length
    2. You should appear in the video
    3. Let your talent shine through your video entry - this should be entertaining and unique!
    4. On-theme video is required within 36 hours of starting your campaign on King Of the Web. (Campaigners who do not meet the contest requirements will be moved to the I King election after 36 hours from the start of their campaign.)
    5. Don’t forget to promote your entry live on YouNow! (Recommended, not required)

    JUDGING

    Phase 1:
    Finalists will be determined by popular vote via the King of The Web Leaderboard Interface. The more votes you get for your entry, the higher you are - it’s that simple!


    The top 6 videos on the “YouNow” Leaderboard on King Of The Web will advance to Phase 2.

    Phase 2:
    The 6 finalists from Phase 1 will be invited to broadcast their clips LIVE on a special YouNow show hosted by YouTube celebrity Michael Buckley.  The winning video and video maker will then be selected by the audience and the YouNow judges.

    PRIZES
    1st Place:
    • $750 
    • A Trip to NYC 
    • Hosting your own VIP, live show on YouNow
    • A NY Reality TV School Scholarship
    • A YouNow Home Page feature
    2nd Place:
    • $500
    • 250,000 YouNow coins
    3rd Place: 
    • $250
    • 100,000 YouNow coins
    4th, 5th and 6th place:
    • $100
    • 50,000 YouNow coins
