So you think you can dance eh? Well then… PROVE IT on YouNow’s Dance Off hosted by Johnni Riddlin for a chance to win a level up and a YouNow prize package. The Dance Off will be this Saturday 3pm EDT, 12pm PDT, 8pm BST on YouNow.com/Dance.

This week we want you to make us laugh! Dance in a funny and goofy way to get the audience laughing out of their seats! We also want to see you guys use use props/outfits to make your dance routine original and fun! Toss on a wig, guys put on girl clothing, girls put on guys clothing, do what you got to do to make us laugh!

Dance Off Rules:

Those competing in the Dance Off will have one hour to strut their stuff!
Use props or an crazy outfit to enhance your dance routine.
Each broadcaster is given TWO MINUTES, but feel free to jump back into the queue as often as possible.

YouNow's All Mobile Game Show

Attention mobile YouNow broadcasters, YouNow is hosting the very first ALL MOBILE GAME SHOW! When we say all mobile, we mean ALL MOBILE! The show will be hosted using the app and ONLY mobile broadcasters will be allowed to participate in the show.

The Mobile Game Show will kick off May 15th at 4:00pm EDT 9:pm BST in Talk 2. If you already have the app installed GREAT! Those missing out on all the fun can find the link to the app here. Participants will have a chance to win level ups, coins, and one lucky person will walk away with a $100 iTunes gift card and become the first person who will gain access to our new app, that allows viewing, voting and chatting as well as broadcasting!

We aren’t going to just give away prizes. You have to earn them!

Here are the challenges for the Mobile Show:

House Tour Relay - Give us an MTV Cribs like tour of your house! BUT, do it as fast as you can. You have 1 minute and 30 seconds to show us your entire house!
Secret Talent - Can you put your legs behind your head? Or maybe you can do a 1 handed handstand. What ever your secret talent is, we want to see!
Unusual Broadcast - Go where no computer has gone before! Broadcast under your bed, in a closet or maybe in the shower. Think outside the box, or perhaps broadcast in one!
Outdoor Adventure - Everyone broadcasts indoors, take us outside! We want to see the outside world!

A winner will be announced and awarded a prize at the end of every challenge and the Grand Prize winner will be announced at the end of the show. Keep getting in the queue to hopefully raise your percentage!

Since the app does not currently support viewing current broadcasts, we recommend having YouNow open on a computer in order to see the show.

DJ PancakeMaster Serves It Up With Extra Syrup

Erik Popil, aka DJ PancakeMaster, is a favorite at YouNow. Known for his marathon broadcasts, he once DJed for 4 hours straight. “I like the criticism and feedback I get from people when I play my music”, Erik said in a Skype interview today. “Since I haven’t found an actual club or bar to DJ in, I had no idea if my stuff was any good. Performing live, even on webcam, gets me that feedback, and its mostly positive so I love the attention I get.”

Erik maintains that positive vibe with his viewers, as he spins his and their favorite music on a dual table Numark Mixdeck, running into Traktor software on a desktop that he built from scratch. Erik spins mostly Techno/House and Hip Hop, but he is known to throw in something crazy and unexpected for fun. He can mix nearly any two songs together, and often meets that challenge with enthusiasm as fans request their favorites to be played next.

So then who are Erik’s favorite DJs? Erik explains, “I love Tiesto and Deadmau5, but the thing is both of them stripped themselves of the ‘DJ’ title. They just see themselves as actual music artists now, even though they do in fact DJ.” Let’s see what DJ Pancake has in store for us.

DJ Pancake broadcasts at varied times. You can usually catch him on the Hip Hop or VIP channels.
