Guess That YouNower is a brand new game that host Kenny Brown is bringing to the YouNow community, happening this Saturday! It’s funny, easy, and if you’re a winner, you could walk away with some YouNow swag!

THE SHOW:

Join us this Saturday at 4:00pm EDT on younow.com/shows, and your host “Downtown Kenny Brown” will be taking everyone’s guesses! Kenny will give the viewers hints on certain YouNowers and you, as the viewers, will takes guesses as to who Kenny is describing.

At the end of the hour long show, whichever YouNower/viewer has the most points will win some YouNow Swag!

RULES:

The first YouNower that answers correctly will get 1 point. (Remember: this is decided by which name Kenny sees appear in the chat first!)
Points will vary on the difficulty of the questions
Certain questions will have a time limit (90 sec.) for viewers to go and find a specific answers. (Kenny will watch someone else’s broadcast going on in a different channel, and will then provide the audience with clues and hints on who that broadcaster is.

Last night’s open call of the Stand Up Throwdown comedy contest featured stand up comedians from all over the world. Amateurs and professionals alike waited in queue for their chance to make the judges laugh!

Our judges for the contest are comedian Jessica Delfino and Editor of Stage Time Magazine, Tasha Harris. The judges and our host, Shimmy, saw some hilarious (and some not-so-hilarious) performances. After much deliberation, the judges chose the following contestants to join us on Friday, May 24th at 5pm ET for their chance to win:

A one-hour guaranteed slot on YouNow before Shimmy’s live shows, for 4 weeks straight.
$200!

Calling all fashionistas! The Face of YouNow fashion contest is coming your way this Wednesday, May 29th, at 5pm ET on YouNow.com/Beauty.

Join host Trisha Paytas for the open call to show off your amazing fashion sense! Each contestant will have 3 minutes total to show us their favorite spring 2013 outfit, and their make-up that goes along with it.

The finalists from Wednesday’s open call will be invited to compete during the final round on Friday, May 31st at 5pm ET / 2pm PT on younow.com/beauty, for their chance to win $300 toward a shopping spree.

Come one, come all!

RULES:

Round One: Each fashionista will have 1.5 minutes to show a close up of their make-up, or do one aspect of their make-up LIVE, as a beauty tutorial
All contestants should get back in queue for round two!
Round Two: Each fashionista will get 1.5 minutes to go live and display their favorite spring 2013 outfit, and explain to what occasion they would wear the outfit

The REALITY SCHOOL GAME SHOW is back on YouNow!

Join us on Friday, May 24th, from 3-4pm(EST) 8-9pm(GMT) to compete in the new Reality School Game Show!

Your new host, JosexAguilar, will be dishing out 3 challenges during the 1 hour show. The highest scoring broadcasters will win prizes, notoriety, YouNow coins and other prizes.

Multiple Winners Every Show! Join in on the fun at any time. A winner is announced and awarded a prize at the end of each challenge.

Each broadcaster is given a two minute maximum, but feel free to jump back into the queue as often as possible to try and up your score.

YouNow Songwriter Sensation, Winners Announced!

YouNow’s Songwriter Sensation spotlighted over 100 incredibly talented songwriters. Judge Tamara Conniff from APG, host Luke Conard, and the judges from YouNow were blown away by all of the original songs and talent that came out to compete.

Musicians were judged based on their lyrics, songwriting ability, deliverability, audience engagement, and charisma! After much deliberation, the judges chose the first place winner and 2 runners-up (who also will receive prizes!).

Congratulations to our first place winner, Chase Goehring! Watch Chase’s winning broadcast here.
